Alphabet Trails privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
Alphabet Trails is made by LuminAscend LLC. This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: it does not collect any.
What we collect
Nothing. Alphabet Trails does not collect, transmit or store any personal information about you or your child.
We do not ask for a name, an email address, an age, a phone number or a location. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and we have no server that the app talks to.
What stays on your device
The app records how many stars have been earned for each letter, so a child can see their progress. This is stored on the device by the app itself. It is never sent anywhere, we cannot read it, and it is deleted with the app if the app is uninstalled.
What the app does not contain
- No advertising and no advertising networks
- No analytics, crash reporting or usage tracking of any kind
- No third-party software that collects data
- No social features, sharing or messaging
- No links out to the web and no web browsing
Purchases
Numbers is free. Language packs are one-time purchases, never subscriptions. Before any purchase, or before redeeming a code, the app asks a question meant for a grown-up to answer.
Purchases are made and processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their own privacy policies. We never see payment details, names, email addresses or any other personal information. A purchase belongs to the Apple Account or Google account that made it, so it can be restored on a new or reset device signed in to that account.
Internet access
Every letter, stroke guide and sound recording is included in the app when it is installed, and learning works fully offline. The only connections the app makes are to the App Store or Google Play: to show prices, to complete a purchase you choose to make, and to confirm which packs your account owns. The app sends nothing to us.
Permissions
The app does not request access to the microphone, the camera, contacts, location, photos or files. It plays sound and, on some devices, may use the system’s built-in text-to-speech voice to say a letter aloud. That happens on the device.
Children
This app is made for children, and it is built so that there is nothing to protect: no data is collected, so none can be shared, sold or exposed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, for example by adding a feature that uses the microphone, we will update this page and its date before that version is released.
